AS.
I couldn't flush my urine down the toilet in Bethel after the Combie's took all the water from the airport for ballast. Couldn't wash my hands either. Then my CP's wife got sick because we didn't have basic hygiene at the terminal.
What a wonderful ambassador for the State of their namesake.

I'm not gunning for an end result, just recounting a personal account of corporate history. And if you don't get the interconnect between AS profitability in Alaska and the poor infrastructure in the market area, and preying on communities there, then you don't get the model.
It's too bad that corporations are people, and people lie, but AS is a serial case. At the very least take care of your namesake, and people who accept jobs with the company should have some small connection to the state the company plasters all over its corporate front line.

Now, rather than attacking me personally, why don't you refute my claims? To answer the OP, all airlines suck from an employee perspective, but Alaska and AA are particularly galling due to their long history of subjugating minority employee groups under awful work rules.
Now, please don't choke on your muktuk and have an Eskimo day.

I'm gender neutral, but I'd encourage you to click on "his" profile all day long.

Im not “attacking you personally”…. Just pointing out the fact that, as a general rule, other than occasionally posting about how you walked out on potential jobs at a couple places, in general you go on various airline message boards and tell the pilots that work there how bad their company, or their job, or their union is. Today was OUR turn.
I wasn’t initiating a conversation or debate with you. I was simply informing another Alaska pilot how to put into context your perspective.
But, you do you!!! I’m sure you can find someone on here to argue with. It just won’t be me. Peace out.
