One thing is going te be first and foremost in importance for both of our pilot groups .. and that is combined UNITY!

We are going to want to achieve a JCBA that is ON PAR with DAL/UAL and this will only happen IF we stand united as ONE pilot group.. No whipsaw, no infighting... keep your seniority/SLI expectations grounded in reality / equipment fences / base fences are very likely .. there should be no winfalls for anyone .. on either side.

Again, our number one purpose moving forwards on this should be combined UNITY!

Ditto. Except for when I'm in the Islands (or anywhere but SEA) I'm out n proud! 😀 Ties n Hat have got to go. I was really hoping we would adopt that during the AS/VX integration. Maybe this HA merger is our second chance

Cheers to that! Only thing I'll say is there's no reason we shouldn't be thinking of raising the bar. With a few tweaks of language, we can ensure we stay at the top of the industry. If SW is truly close to a TA, and all other contracts settled, we've got a lot to work with as far as set precedents go. We're only a few years removed from our own (AS/VX) merger and JCBA struggles, so I think we've learned a lot from our past mistakes and there's huge potential here for major gains that raise the industry bar.

in Unity!

100%.

AS and HA are two great cultures, lets combine forces to be a fantastic, and united pilot group!

Are y’all going to take Colleen’s picture off the tails now? Asking for my WN brothers and sisters.

They're optional, nothing to enforce.

Northwest airlines management at Delta is very familiar how to purchase cheap used aircraft
watch it happening and I think there will be a great replacement for the old 767-300s and higher pay for pilots

win win

Historically when fences have been put up around larger aircraft, does the start date for the prescribed period begin from the date of the abitrator's ruling, or from the date of the merger announcement?

Asking for a friend.

Actually, it’s normally been from start of SOC, which could be some time after the date of the arbitration decision. It’s delineated out in each arbitrator’s award as to exactly when the fence date shall start, and all provisions and exceptions as applicable.
