Default AS + HAL Happy Holidays

This is me signing out for a while, I’ve been asked to take a break.

If you are new to this forum or at least the AS side, you will soon get acquainted with a very loud angry minority that hates all things Alaska. Read those posts, then use your brain to consider why they are saying what they are saying. This place isn’t perfect, but our futures are all extremely bright, if we work together, provide an amazing product, and take care of each other. This really is an opportunity for all of us to be a part of something phenomenal!

We will grow NB and WB flying going forward, there are incredible careers awaiting everyone at AS and HA. I hope we treat everyone well. This company wants to grow and give you the best career in the industry, don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Take it, be thankful, do your best!

Welcome aboard HAL, I’m excited for what the future holds for all of us, together! It is truly the best time in either company’s history to be a AS or HA pilot.

I sincerely hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and enjoys spending time with friends and loved ones!

Cheers 🥃🥃🥃

Appreciate the sentiments, OTZ, and I hope you're right.

Cheers, and Happy Holidays.

Cheers to that, I look forward to HA joining the fun. AS isn't perfect but I have been really happy, and I am pretty cynical when it comes to airlines lol. I think this is a good move for everyone.

One of the reasons you see me so bullish on here (I'm new to the forum) about the merger is HA and AS appear to have a lot in common....the same dynamic of a minority of vocal haters and a majority that care deeply about the company. They are two airlines that have survived long odds against much larger competition in an industry that have seen so many other airlines fail since 1978..... these two pilot groups have a golden opportunity to capitalize on the synergies this deal brings and create an amazing airline with tremendous variety of flying options. Alaska needs the Hawaiian brand to grow stronger, not toss it away and Hawaiian needs the synergies that AS brings to the table to capitalize on what they have built in the Pacific. Good luck to all!
