You tell me what contactable means to you and I guarantee it's not how the company uses the word Hello, grievances. The captain told me there was grassroots effort with this last CBA to define contactable, but the specific wording was removed at the company's request. The company wants the vague interpretation option to remain so they can use to the detriment of the pilot group.

Sure, it’s not defined. Neither was a commuter for the hotel LOA. I’d go with the reasonable person approach. If I’m on cancelation makeup I probably can’t get away with checking my email once per day.
