Disagree.
why would you fly for a company that is the lowest paid, worst scope & pension.
If I’m gonna be away from home, I wanna get the biggest bang for my time.

United, Delta, AA, Southwest, UPS, Fedex

Since the eskimo is scraping the bottom of the barrel, Alaska has become a choice stepping stone— excellent place to stop by, get a type, and move on. Friends don’t let friends drive the eskimo.

THIS!
This company still thought they can snatch 800 AS fan boy new pilots from the PNW. Good luck with that.

Does anyone know how often they hire and/or applicants to positions available? From what I understand they hire frequently (every quarter?) but this could be sign of the times versus the standard.

I'm sure it's possible with OT. But is that what you really want to do after you finish a three week (week, not day) tour across 20 time zones?

There's a reason most people don't do that kind of flying.

🙄

For every guy that makes 200k their second year, there are 100 who fly their line. This goes for every company out there and is why you'd be wise to take all those brags with a big grain of salt.

I'm sure there's a 2nd year FO at Alaska making 200k too, whoring himself to the company every day.

I get lots of premium txts and I’m not picking up. It checks out…

impossible, 2nd year FO at AS can only hold Reserve who is not allow to pickup any open flying on days off (upcoming new hires, you heard it here).
$129x79x12, $122292 before tax is what the company want you to make, nothing more.
