A few other things you can count on in an "Alaskan Jet".

The rudder pedals being run all the way forward so that there is no way to reach them unless you are Kareem Abdule Jabar.

The seat being jacked to the top of it's extension so that there is no way you could get into the seat without banging your head on the HUD combiner.

Two full bags of trash and an occasional drink left in the cockpit.

Window shades stuffed in the corner (not in the bag) or hanging off the windows by one suction cup.

Who are these people? Why didn't their Mom raise them better?

I'm tall. If you come in after me those pedals will maxed out. Seat back will upright also. It's the only I can get my bag in or out. I assume others appreciate it, I do. The window shades get actually put up if it's the day time. That's my biggest pet peave- people who have no consideration for those that will be flying the plane after them and don't put them up or better yet ball them up. Once in awhile I forget my coffee and for that I apologize.

Or, my favorite…97 degrees outside, late inbound, shades halfup, APU off, anemic ground air. It’s a sauna.

Now the 321s staying through "all" of 2023?

HotDogWater 06-17-2022 12:49 PM

Wasn't the plan?

There's a difference between "gone at the end of 2023" and "staying for all of 2023".

ShyGuy 06-19-2022 10:19 AM

So uh, where’s that 3rd step?

I believe in previous ALPA comms August was the tentative roll out.

Really, the 3rd step is your main concern?
Not the fact that top step CA’s haven’t had a raise in almost 3 years or we still haven’t gotten scope or that our schedules are pathetic for commuters? The 3rd step, telling…
