Default Commuting

Allegiant flys out of my hometown, Eugene OR. Would it be possible to fly for allegiant located here? Or would I be required to fly out of one of the hubs?

All of our bases are just that, crew bases. That is where your trips start and end. That doesn’t mean you can’t commute to and from work on our flights, but you would probably need a condo or crash pad in your base, since everything we do (currently) is day trips.

Most will tell you to not come here if you plan to commute. Not saying it’s impossible, just can make the schedules tough to deal with. Many people still do it.

Any rumors about starting multi-day trips in the future?

We have a couple out there now, but the latest information we have in some two day trips will be built out of BLI and LAS.

How are the openings for jump flights or pay for deadheads?

There are no scheduled deadheads built into lines at G4. All 1 day trips out of the crew bases. From EUG there are only 2 flights a week to LAS, once to week to LAX and no other airlines run a direct to any G4 domicile out of there so a commute wouldn't work. FDX/UPS have the best commuter setups, lots of long trips with the first or last (or both) flight a deadhead. You also get a commuter bank to switch your deadhead to start out of your hometown with positive space and so you get paid for the trip to work. NK would be the best commuter option out of the LCC's since they have multi-day trips and min 4 days off blocks.

Its amazing how people can consider applying to a job they've done no research for beyond skimming a b1tch board.

Yes you'll be required to fly out of one of the bases and probably need to live there. Do you need a list of the bases?
