Hopefully they agree to that. Treasury hasn’t seemed willing to negotiate anything at this point.

The Delta boys don't seem worried about our company's future.

You see, 95% of Delta pilots are not pu$$ies. They’re on here beating their chests every day because they know that Delta could never liquidate. Delta is too big to fail. The country simply could not survive with only a Big 2 and 5-6 (U)LCC’s. That would be impossible! TWA and PanAm were outliers for myriad reasons, you see...

“I got fooled once after 9/11, but not again!!!”, they’ll shout to strangers at the unemployment office.

The senior guys will retire anyways, still bitter about getting screwed over by MGMT all those times over that 25-30 year Delta career. At least they can proudly declare that they burned it down, rather than give an inch! Everyone else under the age of 50 can compete for new hire slots at Allegiant when they begin hiring in a few years.

When all the dying legacies are begging for mercy at the BK judge’s trough, I sure ******ing hope Delta has the least awful looking balance sheet...

If you’re going to give Allegiant an exemption because their business model is dependent on outstation type airports and leisure travel the every airline is going to want an exemption for their particular situation. That’s not gonna happen.

there is a difference between Delta having to service 1 of the 3 NY airports 1X a day, and allegiant having to provide service 5 or 7 days a week to service a base like BLI that has zero passengers, as the border crossing with Canada is closed. particularly when that is more service in some instances than certain cities are served during peak normal times. requesting exemptions is part of the bill. (https://www.transportation.gov/sites...er%20FINAL.PDF) pg 74. if Delta has destinations that are as absurd to service, at a loss-they should be requesting exemptions too- I hope they are. there is no telling what the treasury will or will not approve, but it would be derelict for management not to utilize the exemption process to try to avoid operating flights that would deplete resources faster than not accepting federal funds.

16 pages to say the CARES Act won't be enough if we have to fly the original pre-corona schedules; please let us reduce the schedules and apply those savings to keeping employees on the payroll.

Not sure if ALGT got a decision from DOT about this, but JBLU was told to go pound sand after our Exemption Application yesterday.

No exemptions whatsoever.
