SW will eat Allegiant’s lunch in BLI.
Free wifi on your phone/ipad vs. nothing.
Free carry on in the overhead vs. $50.
Unlimited connections from LAS/OAK vs. zilch.
Once the US opens the border….the floodgates open IMO Allegiant will be run out of BLI with their tail between their legs. You’ll see SW expand nonstop service to LAX/PHX/ SAN & more.

Hopefully the increased competition drives management to improve our product as well. We do tend to have a higher income passenger than other ULCCs so there is a market for things such as WiFi, extra legroom seats, etc in my opinion. I suspect these things will come in time if there is profit to be made.

Every time I look at buying tickets, SWA is more expensive than Delta.
You can't out allegiant allegiant with our tremendously low cost structure and fiercely loyal customer base.
Bring it.

Now if a family is going to be bringing a bunch of bags, then WN might be close enough in price to where the family will book WN. But when the Allegiant ticket costs 30% of the WN ticket, good luck getting people to line up in the cattle call for a couple of free bags. Allegiant's model has been working for a reason. If Allegiant has some rough years it won't be because of the legacies and WN, it will be from Breeze, Frontier and to a lesser extent Avelo.
