They cared about attrition the last round. The RB was the crappy life line. They could not continue having people leave at the rate they were and keep going. It could easily spike to unsustainable levels again especially with a very crappy bridge deal or no deal and looking at 3 to 5 years for a new deal. What do you think happens if the bring deal fixes almost none of our current work rule problems and the pay rates are basically what Sunny has now? How many stay?

I hear ya, but something doesn't add up. There is no shortage of CFIs willing to replace them. If I understand your argument, pilots will leave with a crappy bridge deal while waiting for a JCBA. But it's more likely than not there will not even be a bridge deal. Company doesn't need it, they can just not show up for the next 20 mediated sessions (I know there is only a handful left) and still the NMB wouldn't release G4 due to the damage the Toonsters have done. Maybe the H1B1 pilots from Chile won't be a factor but can't completely rule that out either. This is the company that tried to give all it's flying to Viva and is only getting Sun Country for the Amazon flying. So in short, attrition isn't even on the radar for a company that runs a regional model, get pilots in cheap and get rid of them quickly.

The company needs a deal… they just see people on this board saying take anything offered and move on and thought they would give that a try two Friday’s ago. It didn’t go over well and dozens of people called Rod and Michelle to voice their displeasure. We have no power in these negotiations any longer. We gave that up by allowing our old NC and GU to sit on their boats and collect FLP. We allowed them to go to interviews at other carriers while claiming FLP. We allowed them to go on vacation with their spouses while claiming FLP. We have lost all our leverage by allowing our union to do what was in their best interest and not the pilot groups. The only leverage we have is the operation. We have to stop carrying airplanes back to base, releasing the break to get the on-time while we wait 10 more minutes to get pushed, and we have to stop helping the company by taking extensions. Those are all the legal ways we can get some leverage back. They can’t go to court and say these guys are writing up broken airplane at the outstations and they never used to… Well, they probably would try. |
I think it’s safe to say, if we actually do get a chance to vote on this bridge agreement in the coming weeks that it will be a YES vote to activate our RB payout… Immediately followed by sending in an ALPA card (send a new card if one already sent).

Short answer is no that is not a deadline.
There are only 3 ways to end mediation
Option 4: The Trump Administration could impose a contract on our union. If Jerry Glass (Union Busting Attorney) convinces Trump that it would show extraordinary leadership if he just imposed a great contract on Allegiant, then that's what Trump will do. His version of a great contract and ours are significantly different. Option 5: The situation is deemed hopeless and we are released into an indefinite recess. This was done to Trans States. |

Do not have to send in cards, once single carrier is filled that will trigger a representation vote.

I’ve heard rumors that we received the company’s pass for a bridge agreement on Friday and that it has the potential to go out for a vote. Has anyone else heard anything similar?

Just came here to say the same. Reliable sources saying a deal was struck Friday and will be announced this coming week. |
