I doubt it’s a bluff.

It’s obvious management can only make Allegiant work with a pilot group that’s just happy to have a job - any airline job - & be home every night. Throw us some higher pay but don’t budge on work rules so they can continue to basically do whatever they want. Like it’s still 2006.

Quote: i’m curious to know if you wouldn’t mind sharing which bases will likely remain open.

I also wonder if it will actually go to the nmb or if it is a power play by the union to try to get the company to make something happen sooner before a mass exodus ensues.
las, iwa, sfb, pgd, pie, cvg, pit, fll, dsm.

Quote: Yep and I've heard that reduction to 9 base plan that our EXCO told us the company analyzed is now locked and loaded, ready for 2023 after the mass exodus.

Darn it. There goes my plan for turning my house into an ATW crash pad.

Allegiant pilots (or at least very few) are commuters due to the uncommutablility of the schedule. Most move to a base (or quit) so a crash pad in a small base probably wouldn't earn you much and would have a revolving door of junior guys.

If you live there, renting out a room (or three) can be very lucrative.

Unfortunately, we have lost most of the Big airlines. I think United is the only one who participates. But honestly, these airplanes are full all the time, best bet is just buying a ticket for vacation etc.

We have all major north american airlines with the exception of Delta and American. So we have WN, AL, B6, the canadian carriers, etc. Its easy to pass travel through anywhere in europe. South America is pretty easy as well. I've done both with family members. Asia is terrible, just plan on purchasing a ticket.

Haven’t non-reved since 2019; not worth it. Jumpseat yes, non-rev no. Buy a ticket.
