I don't work for Allegiant, but this decision should really be a no brainer. Do you really want to remain associated with the filthy swine? The Toonsters are still suing F9 trying to steal jobs even though they are in no way, shape or form connected anymore. Eventually, the Toonsters and republic pukes will be handed another humiliating and crushing defeat in the courtroom. Do you really want to be around for whatever temper tantrum will occur at that time? It's really best to get the hell out if you can or risk becoming another bitter lifer with no hope of a better future.

I've read the Allegiant "work rules" contract.
And will you share? |
Pretty much the same situation at AAY however. Teamsters are pretty much worthless at either airline. AAY is more likely to strike due to their business model not really affecting national economy or the government. These decisions are NEVER no brainers.

Perhaps "worthless" isn't the best term. IBT 357 has helped me out quite a bit. I am just frustrated at having a 2003 contract as the current CBA. It could still be worse. Based on what I read, AAY looks worse. I'm glad 1224 is working hard to make life at AAY better. But how can someone make a decision to jump from an unstable ship to one with a huge crack in it?

That is the 2nd or 3rd time I've seen this HOM base thing mentioned. Would anyone mind clarifying what that is? Is it a confirmed thing at this point, or still pending?
