Usually comes in an email late Wednesday or early Thursday the week prior to your class date.

Thank you for info, and for the person asking if I was a flow through, yes I am.
Not that the resume matters for the flow, but I’m a LCA with around 5600.
Went to a 141 college (not riddle) and x military, but I was enlisted back in those days.
I’m looking forward to working with you all.

Thanks for the perspective. AA is my top pick at the moment and want to start setting myself up for success. Would rather not go to a wholly-owned, want to keep all my options open.

How does avoiding a WO keep your options open? With how tough it is to get a call off the street...I’d think it would give you more options.

What is your current flying job?
To avoid wholly-owneds is very short sighted. U think you’ll have a better shot at getting hired off the street if you come from a non wholly-owned?

Not at all. The “more option” comment is referring to me being able to go to any regional I’d prefer instead of just focusing on a WO.

Let me start off by saying that there’s nothing wrong with going with a WO. WO carriers have a solid backing with large variety in flying.

Now, let me clarify. AA is my top pick, but given the scene over at ENY (the only WO that would allow me to live in base), I don’t want only limit myself to one carrier. I’m simply saying that if there’s a chance to get hired OTS while working at a different carrier, I’d like to explore that avenue.

You can get hired OTS from Envoy (or any other WO carrier for that matter) as well. You better have some things to make yourself stand out though.

Honestly, if you are dead set on going to AA, I would recommend going to a WO in case OTS doesn't work out. And, for whatever reason if you change your mind about AA, you can still try to go somewhere else too.

What is your background, if you don't mind me asking?

If AA is your top choice then an AA Wholly Owned regional is the most viable path to get there. Very few non WO regional pilots who lack military backgrounds get hired at AA. It’s been less than 10% in previous years.
