5 out of 5 in one interview group yesterday were outside of flow. 1 regional LCA, 1 CA (son of retired AA CA), 2 former mil FW women (both current regional FOs), 1 former mil rotor guy (current regional CA). Didn't hear about the other groups that interviewed.

Compared to previous years, many more regional pilots being hired outside the flow so far this year, but most all are from the AA WO. Quite a few friends from Piedmont, Envoy, and PSA pilots are in training or starting class soon at AA.

Exactly. Except "outside of flow" refers to those who are eligible to flow from the three WO regionals but were lucky/persistent/qualified enough to score an interview before their flow date. It's a small and proud club.

In other news...what’s going on with PHL? No new hires being sent over anymore? Are we the new DFW and CLT? I just threw up in my mouth.

Chances are they have military experience, if the trend it's still going. Very few pilots have been hired in recent past, outside flow with civilian only experience.

All have very good resumes, and in the past they were all going to FedEx or Delta. Maybe AA decided that it was losing a lot of really good pilots to other major airlines and is going to take them outside the flow instead.
