That’s why it is called out.
Well, it wasn't always called out at other places, or other aircraft. And I think ICAO is a bit slower at about 50kts.

But for the A320 fleet I was told there were several reasons for it being added-A/P disconnect on auto land, FOQA data showed folks leaving reverse in too long and...fleet standardization.

Over the years at the legacy airlines that have merged into AA I've seen it come and go like the seasons. Change is hard for pilots, most of us complain about it, especially when it appears to come for no good reason. But then we adapt and most of the time it was no big deal.

Back to the topic.

In the last couple of years, outside of section six, we have gotten profit sharing that our union sold for a few million dollars. About an 8% raise. A paid solution to the management Christmas screw up instead of the sledge hammer solution(I think this solution was not fair and not really the best for an effective solution, but still much different from the past). And now a promise to look at the other issues that are thorns sticking in our sides. But it's still not enough for many pilots here at AA.I read C&R and see countless messages about this "POS airline." Kinda gives credence to the analysts that say "What has it gotten AA?"

Merry Christmas everyone, especially those of you that have to fly while your little ones are at home. I was very luck and never missed a Christmas when my children were little. 20 years in the right seat had some advantages!

Yep. I work a lot and have gotten some premium.

I’m an outlier though. Few premium 4 days, makeup list 2 day trips where I get 10:20 credit for one day of work, etc.

150k+ right out of college? I’m sure those are few and far between. I graduated college 8 years ago and I’m wayyyyy ahead of my engineer/MBA type friends who went to school with me.
Awesome. Good to hear guys can do that well on the E190. It's a shame how our group 1 rates compare to the other majors. If you don't mind me asking what's "way over?" Are you talking 250k? 275k?

I live in a tech city on the west coast. Six figures is standard right out of college for the top talent. Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Amazon pay big money if you have the skills they want. They work hard though.

Aint this the truth! I remember several years ago when NOONE was predicting that AA would voluntarily come up with a raise, PS, etc outside of a contentious section 6.

Never missed a Christmas?! I guess your 20 Years played out different than my 14...and I’m STILL years away from a Christmas off, even in the right seat.

...with my children, when they were little...I should have added until they were teenagers. But even then the US East scheduling system had so many bites at the apple that at least I could be off for part of the holidays.

The first few years with PI/US I worked them all, but I didn't have children then. Several others were a fluke, such as being in training( went to some variety of 737 school eight times, and no, I wasn't held back. ). Many were being a fairly senior 737 F/O. Only one was from calling in sick, but I was really sick.
