Reserves can pick up on their days off for “Over Guarantee”. They can’t pick up more than a day out though. If one is above the coverage requirements they can bid al weekends off, then put in for premium or OG on weekends. Or bid a block of 6 or 7 days off at the end of the month. If you feel like it pick up a trip there.

Yea but isn’t OG distributed like premium? Where CS will only offer it the day prior to sign in at the earliest and only if they’ve gone through all the MU, OOBMU and reserves? So basically the last resort before they offer premium?

I want a system where reserves can pick up any open time on their days off to go above guarantee just like lineholders can.

You can pick up OG If they need you.

See my other response. OG is like premium, it’s at Scheduling’s discretion. I want to be able to pick up using TTOT/TTS on reserve off days.

The problem with our OG and premium reserve is that there is no First in First out: if a senior Dude on reserve wants to do nothing but OG/PM all month long, it’ll always go to him/her no matter how many times. Whereas, at Delta if you do premium you go back to the bottom of the list, thus giving others a chance at it.

Our premium system needs to be completely overhauled.
-get rid of OG: premium only
-200% premium
-once you get a premium trip you go to the bottom of the list
-if you’re a reserve and fly premium on off days you get those days restored
-if a lineholder and displaced off your trip bc you picked up premium you should be Pay protected for the missed trip
