Default Returning from mil leave question

If you go out on mil leave for OVER a year prior to completing initial qual consolidation and plan on returning to the same equipment, what sort of requal can you expect?

4 day or full course?

Checked with APA mil affairs rep and he was unsure.

From the Military Affairs Return from Military Leave Checklist...

“If you have been out for more than one year, but less than two years and are returning to the same equipment, training will last approximately a week.”

Saw that, but it doesn’t address the consolidation issue. My understanding is AQP requires completion of consolidation otherwise the initial training is invalid.

I'm in the same boat as you except I was only out for 6 months. I'm only getting an R9.

This may require a call to Sue Kalosa. I'm interested to know the answer before my R9 late next week.

If you don't consolidate don't you get a GS day 1:1 with a GS instructor and one sim session with a SimP? After that you go to a regular R9 and get all your required R9 training dates reset.

That was the protocol years ago.

Called SK. She said she knows who to ask and will get back to me. I’ll post the answer.

When I missed consolidation (due to mil), that training layout is what they did for me. Slice, what I don't know if that is FAA driven, or AQP driven.

Just looked at my TMS. It looks like I’m getting 1 day of academics followed by an R9. So 4 days total.
