Default Too late to bid the S80?

I am thinking about bidding the S80 as I have always wanted to fly it. Can we still bid this mighty airplane or is it too late?

How much longer will it be around?

Thanks!

As long as you put it above DC10, 707, and F100 in your 3*, you should be good.

Fleet is gone in Sept 19 I believe.

Yes. Friend of mine at AA said the last drop for the S80 was an Aug or Sep class.

The last page of the vacancy announcement should be helpful

IIRC the last bid that had someone other than a new hire awarded it was March 2018.

Enter your bid. Let the company decide.

The nice part can be the displacement when it disappears. No lock-in with displacements.

No more qualification training on the 80. 😥

I can see why...makes sense. Last trip is when, September? Watch for huge displacements in next vacancy bid.
