Thanks! I tried to book him last year and wasn’t taking appointments for some reason. Also crazy how the Epicenter has gone down hill even in the last 2 years since I first moved here.

I've been out on medical for 3 years, prior to that I used Dr. Al Hudson. His nurse Angela is married to an American Captain and has been my FAA Physical Nurse for the past 30 years. She was with Dr. Long who did physicals out of his house until his mid-80's, then Dr. Hudson took over. Dr. Hudson is very laid back and easy going. I don't know if he's accepting new patients or not.
Dr. Hudson is an Internal Medicine Doc with the Charlotte Medical Clinic. They relocated to a medical building near Southpark Mall so not a long drive from South CLT. Their old direct number for FAA Physicals is: 704-446-2359; not sure if that's still a good number since the move. He normally runs the FAA Physicals separate from his regular practice so it's best to call that number to reach Angela and schedule an appointment.

That's unfortunate. As you noticed, he's sharp, but not young. He's right in the danger zone with regard to Covid. I hope he's well and this is just precautionary.
