Ahhhhh, what a nicer world.

I remember getting kicked off the bottom of the 777 FO list with with about 14 years of seniority. That was also after getting kicked off the 727 CA list.

Raising a beer hoping that nobody gets stuck in purgatory like those of us in the past.

Are you from Emirates
Too good to fly 190s

I haven’t seen your question about Delta and the 330/350 timing

Maybe you only prefer Boeing products
Ok got it

Unfortunately, your painful experience and those that had to endure 10+ years at the regionals will be easily forgotten in just a few years. Pilots will then b!tch about having to wait 5 years for a upgrade.

Curious about the 787 in DFW. I’m currently fo on the 320, just wondering what the transition to the 787 is like and the lifestyle out of Dfw on it. I assume it varies widely between LH, SC and LC, but just wondering what it’s like, QOL comparison. I’ve never done long haul anything other than the transcon/Hawaii stuff, so any input is appreciated.

It's trending lower and lower. More aircraft coming /new routes.
Hard to tell how low it will be for someone starting today but will most likely be lower. As the 767 goes away there will be more 787 flying.

The new AKL announcement should make 787 more junior I would imagine with additional staffing needed but who knows. Both 777 and 787 are relatively junior to hold now.

He literally just said AA and United are his top 2 choices for legacy’s. Hence not asking about delta or airbuses. And how does his long term planing make him come off as too good for 190s? Lmao moron.

Resurrecting this post. What’s it looking like currently to hold either type in MIA?

Is there much difference between the two in MIA with regards to seniority, trips, overall preferability?

AllYourBaseAreB 12-17-2022 09:29 AM

10871 holds 787
11043 holds 777

way more senior dudes on the 777. My relative seniority drops 20% as a middle of the list guy.

junior guys on property are 15200+ numbers
