Any reason for MIA being a junior base?

Creeping on the page as a Delta guy. I always pondered this question as I live in FLL. Anywho, my in-laws live north of St Lucie and I just drove there this weekend. Friday rush hour traffic was fun. Nothing like being on the toll road and paying to sit in traffic. My point is I think you are going to hate that drive, though it is doable. Get some hippie stress relief music and incense going.
I for one love it here. The Spanish thing is blown out of proportion. It’s like being Irish in Boston, it’s cultural not personal. Just fire back in English and 99.9% will switch over. Or fumble in Spanish and they will help teach you. I wish we had a domicile in Miami or AA would’ve given me a call.

Yes, at least with the current regime. Things can change from the top in DFW if someone new decides to play hardball, or a better term, parks his head in his rek-tum.

Also, park in Mangonia and catch the Tri-Rail.

Anyone done the DFW-MIA commute and can weigh in? Flowing from Envoy next winter and hoping to get MIA while I wait to get back to DFW. I’ve lived in South Florida before and even have relatives there. Just curious about commuting from DFW. I would have a car with me there.

Agreed. If we hire at all, it won’t be anywhere close to forecast numbers. I’d bet a flow who’s supposed to come over in the fall this year, won’t see AA until late spring or summer next year at the earliest. Our retirement numbers will probably keep a furlough from happening, but no way we’ll need to hire numbers like before. Then again, we could furlough anyways. Just depends on how bad this gets before we hit bottom.
