well about 1000 guys have already left since the beginning of the pandemic. Another 1000 aren’t active line pilots. Are you planning for AA to shut down half its bases? Which ones? The airline is so freaking old that if we shrink by 7000 line pilots off the bottom Tomorrow we will be basically dead and no one will be thinking of a 10 year recall....

Speaking of stocks. just flew w a capt who turned 30k into 175k in 3 weeks. Picked up a charlotte observer on a sit and started reading about how they were going to start mining lithium in Gastonia. Company was Piedmont Lithium. was $6 a share. then jumped to over 50 in less than 2 weeks. Ended up selling for $44 before we started the trip. damn dinner was good that night. Wish all the older dudes were like him. Also, GD!! what a home run on a 2 hour sit.

This is gambling, he made a very smart play and got out at nearly the perfect time. Playing single stocks is tough, I don’t know many who do it well.
