AA has hired several now that do not have any college experience at all, so I don't think they really care anymore about things like transcripts. There are also Regional FOs with zero TPIC getting hired.

Still a majority of the interviewees seem to be military. With a rarity having low TPIC and it seems they are legacy pilots of AA. I know delta and UA are calling a lot more zero TPIC pilots

For those that interviewed recently…

How much of the AA talent acquisition profile did you fill out? Did you go as far as to attach a cover letter or did you just fill out the basics?

I don’t see anywhere they want copies of transcripts or diplomas. I’m reading from others they wanted this for their interview. Did it change recently?

Just the basics, no cover letter, etc. They did not ask for transcripts at the interview. Supposedly they’ll request them to be uploaded at a later date.

Are you confusing flows with street hires? Lots of flows do not have a degree. If so, this is nothing new. If it’s street hires without degrees, then I guess things have changed.

Yes, I personally know of 3 street hires offered interviews without a college degree in the past couple months.

When do the class drops come out for the class?

It’s a pretty quick process as none of the requested fields want anything more than a date range and most of your personal info auto populates from PC. I did it yesterday in about ten minutes. Also no cover letter. As for transcripts, the first email I received said to bring one, while the second one didn’t mention it in the list of items to bring. I’ll bring it just in case.

I am off the street, with no degree. Starting next week.
