There should be a July/August effective dates bid. Will probably be announced in March. The last one had April/May/June effective dates.

My bet is an announcement released next month, with effective dates in August or September. They'll have to train the crews for the 787s they are taking later this year. Hopefully that'll create some upward movement.

787 will go junior on this bid. Nobody likes summer training.

Crew planning has already said that they are running out of places to put new hire pilots and that there will be another one very soon. And to expect more than 3 this year.

As of right now, the junior FO bases for new hires are overflowing with no more room for any more pilots. Notice the increase in class drops into the more traditionally senior bases and less in what are traditionally the most junior bases? That is because the junior bases are completely full of FOs.
