COVID vaccine

Does AA still require the vaccine for new hires?

Are they still giving exemptions?

How does this process work?

Will you know if your exemption is approved before you have to quit your current job?

I know multiple people personally who have been approved for an exemption. Most were either approved before class or during indoc.

Submitted request day after interview and it was approved within three days.

You’ll get multiple emails asking you to submit your vaccination card. Just ignore them. They will then send you the link to file the exemption. No mask required in any of the AA training centers. Cheers

I think there were total of 15-20ish questions. About 5 of them are write in your answer. All the rest were yes/no type questions. APA has said that AA has currently not turned down any RE exemption requests. Just answer honestly. It took me 20ish minutes to fill out. They can contact you to ask you more information. Out of the 6 people I know who filed for exemption, non of them were contacted for more info and all were approved.
