hey all! I just go the email to interview with aa. I've been trying to find the information on what aircraft are based where. Does anyone have a link? Or could take the time to share that information with me? I understand as well that there is a split between domestic and international bases for each narrowbody fleet. How does that affect seniority and quality of life? Does one side or the other typically go more senior than another? Thanks in advance for any information you might share!!

How long would it take in DFW for a new hire today to upgrade to Captain or become a widebody FO?

Junior DFW WB FO is 11,157. Junior NB CA in DFW is 11,143. There are about 15k pilots. I'm not sure what the hire dates were for the plugs.

Whats the upgrade / seniority looking like to hold 787 FO in ORD? Also what about 737 CA in ORD?
I'm definitely not in a hurry for them as the focus is on QOL but would be interesting to see. Thanks! |
Focus on becoming hired first…

I’m too lazy to look at hire dates but 7ish years? both are mid 10k seniority at the bottom. We are about to have new hires with 16k seniority numbers. (This does not mean we have 16k pilots, our seniority numbers get adjusted down every July)

Awesome, thanks! I don't have access to the website just yet but wanted to ask about it. That doesn't seem too bad. I assume it will drop slightly over the years as we see the retirements to really start flowing.
