I read something about free medical, but the United medical insurance is worthless as they deny pretty much everything except accepted routine procedures and emergency room.

He's a troll and a pretty lousy one at that. I chuckled when I read his username, but now he's just gotten on my nerves.

Easy problem to fix. Just go to the emergency room for everything.

Hope United knocks it out of the park.

yeah, this is good news for all. APA definitely needs coattails to ride. I spoke with a base rep and was astonished at his apathy/lack of knowledge toward negotiations.

If you guys are riding ALPA UA coattails, then it must be a sorry state of affairs over there.

Its almost comical how badly management hates the pilot group over at AA. They would do anything, including costing the company more money in the long run, to not give the pilots a decent contract. Any offer from them has been insulting to say the least. Pittance of QOL rules aside, the pay rate offer was 1% for 2019, 1% for 2020, 1% for 2021, 1% for 2022, 3% for the 2-year “short term” contract. That’s 7% until 2024 and beyond when we haven’t had a raise in over 3 years to begin with. That’s not an offer that’s a spit in the face.
