Default MIA Hotels and Parking

What are the hotels that most commuters use in MIA?

What’s the cheapest parking if you choose not to do the employee parking?

Are reserves flying pretty much every day? Should I plan for a lot of hotels on reserve or not so much?

Check Crewtell first $72 at the Sheraton with a free breakfast card and it's a really nice breakfast. Then Bizhero. The one on jennet. Upper right >resources>deals and discounts>type biz hero. It's a different hotel most days around $72-80.

What he said crew tel at the Sheraton, when that rate isn’t available I use bizhero on jet net and can find that same crewtel rate at the Sheraton or other airport hotels. I average 1-2 hotels a month but I’m a junior line holder. Parking you have employee parking which is cluster in a flood zone.

Not sure if any of the outside parking companies have an AA rate, you might want to call them locally. Some CAs who do day trips park in the parking deck outside which is nice and convenient, but they make more money than me.

If you’re on reserve that will be a crapshoot with hotels, that can get expensive quick. A Crashpad is normally $275 and above and there are many around. There is the Crashpad hotel network, but you can’t sit there all day if you don’t get called.

Thanks! Those are some good options. I really don’t like crash pads so I’m going to try to get by without one and hope it doesn’t get too expensive. Hopefully, they are short enough on pilots to keep me flying and not have to get too many hotels.

Be advised the rates get real ugly fast in season. The last couple years skewed things at various times.

Another new thing, 1st I've seen in 27 years is the parking garages full at 10am and everybody directed off airport. It happened most weekends recently.
