Default ORD Commuter Parking

For those of you who commute out of ORD, where do you park?

Before anyone suggests any public transportation options, my only option is to drive to the airport. I don't live anywhere near he L and I would only use Metra if I knew I would be commuting out and back on weekdays.

I have heard a lot of people mention AMC parking, but I haven't been able to find any contact info for them. Can I contact them directly and pay for parking, or does my carrier have to set it up for me?

Are there any other parking lots near the airport that offer monthly crew rates?

Are there any hotels that you guys and gals use that offer parking? I'd like to avoid calling every single one to research if I can.

Thanks for your help.

The AMC lot should be set up by airlines local base manager. I think it is $600 for the year January to December. I don't think you will find any local parking cheaper*than that.

There is an indoor lot called "Blue Sky". I think they charge $8-10 per night and it is heated, indoor parking. The shuttle is prompt as well. More expensive than the AMC lot but sure beats scraping your car and digging out after a long trip.

If you do get in a pinch, there is CTA park n' ride at the Cumberland and Rosemont stations. $12 for 24 hours.

Pride Parking. Cheap and van service is prompt. The longer you stay the cheaper the rate. Its around $6.50 a night for 4 days or more. Outside parking though and kind of a small area so reserve ahead of time on their website. Pay cash its cheaper. Also the Quality Inn O'hare has crew rates ( About 35 a night). It is right across the street from Pride parking. Its a dump but for commuting it works. Also they let you park there for around $8 a night I believe even if you are not staying at the hotel. Good luck.
