Speaking of the 737, pretty funny that APA takes a stance on the Max 7/10 certification considering American doesn’t even have it on order.

That's because we are still ****ed because the Max 8 didn't have it. All because it would have been too confusing for SWA. Nothing wrong with taking a stance on safety.

Dramatic much? ****ed because the Max8 didn’t have a crew alerting system? Then how are you dealing with the -800? Not that much different.

The point being it is long past Boeing to get past 1970. Talk about dramatics, you're the one triggered by APAs statement. lol

Because APA’s statement has nothing to do with safety, but rather putting American at a competitive advantage.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see some MAX7s at AA some day. Those 319s won’t last forever…some are getting up there in age/cycles and unless they go A220, they’ll need something unless they just upgauge everything to MAX8s. And MAX7 > 319NEO from an economics perspective from everything I’ve read (2 extra rows over the -700 but similar fuel burns). I think it’s valid for them to have an opinion. Just my outsider 2 cents.

The point being, it’s long last due for Boeing to consider putting in an EICAS into the 1960s design if they’re going to keep the 737 around for the future. APA is simply supporting that for safety. I agree.

Airbus.

Flown both, Airbus cockpit is so much better. It makes a difference if it's your everyday office...

No, the last thing the APA would do right now during negotiations is try to put AA at a competitive advantage. The APA said this for safety, and modernization.

^this…. No doubt I was Boeing for years and now I can’t see myself going back to flying the millennium falcon. Like the movie step brothers said “so much room for activities!”

I'm in the 73.. I'm 6'4 and 190 lbs... It's not the most easiest seat to get in and out. Feels like getting into my old c model Mooney. I am enjoying flying the aircraft though. I also can't stand up in the flight deck.

That being said, my seniority at base is better than the bus and the trips subjectively seem better at my base.

The max does fly very nice. I have never flown a bus yet.
