Yea, I remember talking to some folks at RTAG and they were asked to attend. Not sure if they were part of the 61 CJOs

Quick question, they will be doing interviews there?

because they are asking to bring the logs there

Yes. In the original email they mentioned the Dallas interview team would be present. I'm not sure how much they're planning to do but it definitely sounds like they'll be interviewing some!

I saw them doing more than 5 interviews - and most likely hired more than 5. Not sure how people get selected at AA. I have over 1000 hours of turbine PIC time and got told I should get some more TPIC time...(however, they hire people with no / almost no TPIC time) - maybe they were testing me, if I push back.
I have a CJO with UA - but AA suits me better. After going to multiple hiring events, app reviews, internal recommendations etc. - I'm probably giving up soon on AA. And I'm currently not with a WO.

I feel ya... almost 2000 TPIC, all in jets, got my app reviewed prior to the event by one of their recruiters, but yesterday (11/08), another recruiter told me to fix some more stuff... all to say that total time requirements are BS, I have 2 letter of recs from 2 captains, clean record, but... NO 121 time, oh also.... i am a white male, maybe those are my 2 short comings, and I get it...

I will wait another few months for an opportunity, after that I will move away from AA for good.

good luck to everyone.

Judging from what you’ve posted, it might be your attitude. I under you’re frustrated, but maybe it is coming through in person.

Yes, i am frustrated, I admit it, but also assume I am not perfect, no 121 time is a big thing, I Know. Now very seriously about the white male thing, They said it on the presentation, they are looking for the "car that has all qualities they need, but gotta be the color they want ( they have that right to do whatever they want with their hiring). until they fill the quota, I will be at slightly advantage. That is all. It is a reality I have to leave with it .

Focus on getting some 121 time before making statements like that. What’s your argument for the other “white males” who are getting interviewed/ hired? Entitlement much…

Judging by the makeup of all but one new hire class, “white” and “male” ain’t a hindrance to being hired…
