Sorta.
Highest pay rate is $213.75/hr. That’s the top of the pay scale. LCA are pushed to the top of the pay scale regardless of longevity as are certain other captains. LCA can make 100% override that makes it close to $430/hr, but they only get that override when they’re instructing. Some of the LCAs are busy and making that override most of the time (175 LCAs) and some aren’t doing much at all (145 LCAs).
There’s also better premium OT rules at Envoy than at AA (as far as I can tell, I don’t have access to AA’s contract, just from talking to people). So a pilot on $213.75/hr can make significantly more than that per hour when picking up OT, as much as near $640/hr. But that’s just for OT. Most pilots can’t pick up more than 10 hours or so a month of that, though some do.
In the end, it’s a bit silly to compare hourly rates beyond $213.75 per hour because most pilots at either airline are simply line pilots. STILL, you come up with silly numbers on the comparison in relation to historical norms.
