Recent article said we sold our last 4 to a global mx/part supplier. Never say never, but I think the XLR plan pretty much puts the nail in the 330 coffin with AA.

If memory serves, AA had 9 of the A330s. Kind of orphaned fleet, if you ask me.

I think we had 24 330s, maybe 9 were 330-300s

15 330-200s and 9 330-300s, all inherited from Airways. You're not wrong, but it's nice to dream.

No reason to. They would get more 777's or 787's if they wanted more airframes. It would be a collosal waste of money and resources to get the 330 back in the fleet...that ship has sailed.
