Buy a decent pair of ANC headsets. Bose is Cadillac but probably overkill. I..uh… took a long term loan on a pair of company headsets when we had 4 on board and a mechanic showed up and dropped off a brand new set, still in the box. (Eventually returned). I used them for years waiting for the iPads to replace Jepp charts in my bag, creating space to buy and carry a larger ANC model. They’ll work in a crunch (in spite of the fact the mic is junk and the other pilot can’t understand 1/3 what you say) but holy CATS do you notice the decrease in fatigue when you go ANC. AND.. Need to call dispatch through Crew Central APP? Works like a champ through your headsets. AND.. I’d never advocate listening to music but rumor has it something playing quietly in the background helps keep guys awake during red eye flights.
newjetnet.aa.com, /menu/deals and discounts/David Clark. DC Pro-X2, Bluetooth w/ dual plug -$670. The order comes direct from David Clark and they throw in a free DC logo hat that makes you IRRESISTIBLE to flight attendants when paired with cargo shorts and white new balance sneakers. Don’t say I didn’t warn you, tiger.

Yes. I didn't even use it for listening to ATC or participate in the cockpit conversation, I just used the noise cancelling function. He told me Sony's are non-TSO. I just acknowledged but you can imagine what I really meant ...

Well this says it all...probably loves the Preeeeems and was excited about the seat fill opportunities that Hogg said we should do as industry standard
