MIA 737 VS Airbus
Which one has better commutable trips? Or more commutable trips. (I’m not interested where these trips go, just trying to figure out easiest commute situation) I understand living in base is best… I’ll be a new hire with a one leg commute. I understand that it will take time to get good commutable trips, which airframe does everyone think that will happen quicker? TIA.

This is a loaded question so it is hard to answer. Both MIA 320 and 737 have a huge variety of flying. The 737 is a slightly larger category in MIA with 446 FO's as of the 11/2023 bid. MIA320 has 330 FO's for 11/2023. So your seniority will probably go up faster on the 737.
I'm not sure where you will commute from, but plenty of trips will be commutable for either aircraft. For May I put in any trip thats starts after 1200 Noon and releases at or before 1800. The 737 has 274 (of 1600) possible pairings that meet these parameters. For the 320, May has 217 (1200) commutable pairings. So it's about the same. Of course, everyone's definition of commutable is different. If you can get in by 0900 or 1000, that opens up a whole lot more trips. Remember that MIA covers FLL and PBI too.
