True, but with some caveats, like you can't MBE if you have already have an award, or if it would make you the most junior person in base.

I believe that changed with new contract. I think we CAN MBE now even with an award. My buddy is 73 and has 320 award, he tried to MBE which didn’t let him and working with union to have it done now.

I was denied participating in the last MBE due to a pending status change.

True, but if you didn't get your base in a vacancy you probably won't get it in a MBE as you would most likely be the most junior person going into the base and your request would be blocked.

False, due to the variety they've been offering new hire classes lately (DFW 737 for example).
