Is there any actual proof of the "if you get hurt pushing wheelchairs/grabbing strollers/etc you'll get in trouble" myth that has existed for years?

I'm not advocating pilots start throwing bags, but I want to know the truth.

that’d be tough to do. All he has to say is he was contributing to the process of getting the flight out on time. Unless your FOM strictly prohibits the function then i don’t see how they could deny OJI. Captain authority has a pretty wide brush. Or at least that’s what they will tell you. I could be wrong.

"Please show me where in your FOM "loading and unloading of bags" is part of your job description?" Oh you can't find it there. Disability claim denied.

Getting a flight out on time ain't it.

willing to bet coordinating on time departures is in there (or something along those lines.) that could cover a slew of different activities. Denial appealed.

Great. Has that ever actually happened, or just internet lore?
