They tell you before the conference if it’ll be an interview. They need you to do the HR zoom screen and the personality test. I’d still be prepared for anything and bring all your logbooks, stranger things have happened.

I had a Friday morning Meet-n-Greet, Friday afternoon in-person HR screening, I did the personality test Friday evening, and then I had the interview Saturday morning.
Before showing up to the conference, I had no idea that I would get an interview. My advice, be prepared for anything.

Howdy y'all, I signed up for a Meet and Greet at NGPA in Palm Springs and I got a time slot awarded to me, honestly I thought they were going to tell me no. I'm over at a competing all 737 airline, TT is 2,950, 1,350 121 Jet time, 440 hours in a 767. 0 checkride/line check failures and a 4 year degree. 0 TPIC unfortunately.
What would be my chaces to get a on the spot interview? Does it just depend on the recruiter I get to talk to at the event?? Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!

Not to burst your AA bubble but they to see TPIC, any amount would do, anything > 0 tpic. This goes back to even a couple years ago since they had new hires upgrading within 2/3 years on property. The days of poaching from SW are over...for now...if there ever was such a time. The 737 type helps, but not as much as the pic time. Recruiters will tell you the same. Go to ngpa to get exposure and a face to the name, but don't expect more than that. They'll tell you to get tpic time and update your app. At least that's how it is now, could easily change in 6 months.

I just interviewed last week and there was 5 Spirit Captains, 1 Frontier captain, and 5 military pilots. It’s definitely getting more competitive again.
