They'd order E195s before they admitted they screwed up and go back to the 330.

So multiple rumors going about eh?

Rumor 1: Boeing was saying hi offering a great deal on the 777X.

Rumor 2: 330neo

Rumor 3: 350's.

IMHO, if rumor 2 is true it is simply due to the 330neo is the fastest way to get new WB's on property.

Rumor 1 and 3 would mean a vision and forward looking at expansion. The 330neo's would just serve what we basically do already and the 787 is better for that job. Might as well just order more 9's and maybe the 10.

Does CLT do anything with 777 that a 330 Neo can’t do cheaper, seems like to be adventurous you use 777-200 and if it fails you just retire them. American Next.

If you can’t explore a market with a 20 year old airplane depreciated to 0 you just need to quit.

S80's were $1500/month to lease yet they still parked them. Sometimes it's not about the indirect costs, it's more the direct operating costs that dictate economics of a potential city-pair.

I'd imagine they plan to use the XLR to start routes first vs a wide body gulping fuel.

35 more XLRs coming vs 19 more 78s...this is all we need to know.
