I guess I missed it. Exactly where has AMR "given" in these talks, or any other previous negotiations over the past 15 years?

I guess you did. Are you suggesting the '97 and '03 contracts were imposed and not consensual agreements?

This will be interesting, its seems Judge Lane is in a precarious position. If he does throw out the contract, a couple thousand guys punch out, and the company flops into chap 7. His name will tied to the failing of an airline that holds the country's name... As well as tens of thousands out of work..

thats the most extreme and crazy thing yet, you should go meet Eaglecry.

Ch7 is a farce since USAIR will sweep in long before that.

Further more, most these big talkers wont retire, and wont actually take work action since the fear of the courts will stop that, el al United right now.

Again, you are clearly not a pilot for American Airlines. The 2003 TA was AMR held a gun to our heads and said we need $600 M a year. Do it!

Why the love for Tom Horton and Bev Goulet who told the UCC last week that "We'll (AMR) get more concessions from our employees than USAir will/can!"

You are not a pilot for AA.

What's extreme and crazy is a junior Eagle F/O who charges into the AA bankruptcy section not knowing **** from shinola and incessently ingratiates herself into the converstation as though she or her idiotic assertions are relevent, waving her cyber fingers at mainline pilots telling them which way the wind is blowing in the AA bankruptcy situation.

Perhaps it's time to return to the Eagle section and concetrate on your bankruptcy, your 1113 or your corrupt union (for which you do nothing about) or refocus your mindless babbling back to attacking the captains you're flying with for supposedly being idiots for not flying the aircraft the way you think it should be flown. Of course, I'm sure you're always welcome by your fellow high-fivers and the rest of the katzenjammer kids over on the Eagle pilots websites where you can gloat about the misfortune of clueless mainline pilots and giggle with giddy glee at your possibility of one day flying the Embraer 175 at their expense.

Like I said before, I'l bet you don't get many second dates.

Certainly not in spirit. He's the guy who will walk past your picket line on his way to fly with chest puffed out and a bounce in his step.

Eaglefly, that's a low blow. I do not get from any of Tom's postings that he would cross a picket line. Such accusations diminishes your credablity. Just because you disagree, doesn't give license to impune someone's honor.

Given that I've been here for 23plus years, I'm betting I've walked more picket lines than you probably have.

But hey, if attacks give you a greater sense of warmth and comfort, so be it!
