Deal should be announced later this week. The company had to move on alot of items as did the pilots. Union meetings planned this week, so we should here much more about the deal.
Flight attendants won't have a contract come Friday.
Best of luck to everyone involved.

Interesting second post! Right now APA has an updated 1113 term sheet not a TA (deal)!!! APA negotiators have agreed to take the term sheet to the APA BOD to vote and decide if they want to send it to the membership for a vote, I don't think this will happen so we are looking at either the company and APA agree to deal or the judge will rule on Friday... I don't have any sources just stating an observation, what is your source of a deal?

Not sure why having just two posts matters to you. But the information is good. The BOD will vote tomorrow on whether or not to put it out for vote, that is correct. We should get a vote on this, so that everyone gets to see what is in the details. We have to have our voting done and counted by August 1. My sources are good.
Have a great night.
Have a great night.
Good luck to all at AA, as Friday it's likely Lane will turn AA into an airline whose employees are all under forced work orders including the pilots, flight attendants and mechanics.
If I were the UCC, I'd be going bat**** right about now.

It's official
APA INFORMATION HOTLINE
This is APA Communications Committee Chairman First Officer Tom Hoban with the APA Information Hotline for Wednesday, June 20.
APA BOARD REJECTS MANAGEMENT'S OFFER: By a vote of 11 to five, the APA Board of Directors decided this afternoon not to approve management’s “final offer” as a tentative agreement, which means it will not be submitted to the membership for a ratification vote.
The motion the Board voted against reads as follows: Motion to waive applicable policy and adopt the Company’s last, best, and final offer, dated 6/20/12 and time-stamped 1550 CDT, and upon adoption as required by Article XII, Paragraph D of the C&B, this document will be the Board-approved Tentative Agreement.
In explaining their opposition to approving the offer as a tentative agreement, a number of Board members cited the lack of specificity in various areas and the need for additional time to properly analyze various contractual provisions and related language.
The bankruptcy judge is expected to issue a ruling on Friday regarding management’s motion to reject our collective bargaining agreement.
That’s it for now. Thanks for checking this hotline.

Eagle Fly here is part of the deal contained:
-13.5% stake in the new company upon exit from BK
-3-4% Raise on date of signing, 2% per for 3 years then industry average to include Delta, United and US Air
-sequence protection
-Eagle gets 79 seat jets and below, with a reduction in ASM's they are allowed to fly pertaining to the narrow body fleet, 110% down to 75% of ASMs
-PBS with in the year
-60% of ASMs for code sharing
-per diem increase to $2/hr
-work rules were vague and not completely worked out.
This deal was worked out with Judge Peck in the room. He was not completely one sided, but you could see that he was leaning towards the company.
Hope this helps Eagle Fly
Have a great day. The future is unknown for many people, this is uncharted waters, no pilots contract has ever been abrogated in BK.

At any rate, we are where we are and what occurs in the future is unknown. If the judge imposes this, AMR still has to figure out how to get an agreement ratified by the PILOTS and not just the BOD.
I'm convinced they still may not get it.
