Gate agents and FA's gab with the public in earshot all the time. That their frustration is pointed at the wrong place is also a very frequent occurrence.
When I was at pinnacle as an FO, gate agents started blabbing at me about how overpaid I was and blah blah blah for not agreeing to the company's recent contract proposal to us. I made 25,000 dollars that year. So, no... I do not give much weight to their idle chatter. :) |

Called MX for a missing screw. 1.5 hours later we departed. The funny thing is, every airline employee at every airline should be doing this everyday. Does the media really think company X's planes are any better serviced than ours? They just ignore the fact that crap is overlooked daily at ALL airlines.
