Furloughees get:
None of the 13.5% Equity Stake.
But, it is a guaranteed J-O-B.
On a more positive note, a lot of us have completed 20 years of military service and can now retire. The military called thousands of pilots back after 9/11. Most folks had 9-10 years in the military prior to joining AA.

Actually....no. Go check out the UAL/CAL TA threads. Certain UAL pilots will not receive full longevity restoration. Many are upset about it as they feel it will hurt their placement on an integrated seniority list.

They come in seniority order, bidding with their original AA OCNL seniority (which would be summer 2001 for the next group to go), but at first year pay.
It's guesstimated that somewhere between 25% to maybe 40% of the 238 Eagle pilots will take the flowthrough, due to first year pay. Many of these guys are 45-55 years old and have no interest in going from $140K+ per year to newhire pay, while giving up QOL of bidding at the top. Some do still intend to go, however.
The 824 pref newhires (next gen flowthrough) go over at the top of each newhire class, but with virtually no AA seniority. They keep their sick time and bid the number of vacation weeks their AMR seniority holds, but that's about it.

PBS will destroy the ability of the 'players' to 'play' the game. One of our more infamous players in NY told me PBS will cost him $40K per year. At least.
Just about every AA seniority holding CA (nearly all on step 18 pay by now) is well north of 6 figures paywise.
CKA types and more senior CRJ guys are no lower than $120K.
My last sim session was with a 'bragger.' he claims $170K, with massive OT. Given our schoolhouse compensation (95hrs CRJ pay per month), I don't doubt it.
The point of my previous post was that the number of AE flowups may be substantially lower than what others may guess.

PolarFr8Dog,
I don't have a reference for you. I only know that we don't get any equity from reading the rants in C&R on the APA members-only website.
Sorry, I cannot quote you chapter and verse. If I am wrong, please let me know. I will gladly take the money.

Agreed big slick doesn't look good for us., as well I did not receive any of the options that were given on the last round. Ans yes I am on the seniority list. I was one of the guys that was in class when I was furloughed. Apparently APA,s stance was that I should be happy they gave me a seniority number as my occupational date was after my furlough date. A raw deal indeed. Let,s see if they actually treat all on the list fairly. No i,m not ex-eagle, I did quit my job and rolled the dice and 9/11 happened. I faired a lot better than many, just saying I jumped through the indoc hoops, ground school and partial sim then shown the door. Can't believe they did not consider me one of them. Some people are just too greedy to share the wealth with 200 guys or so that we're just punted to the street. APA should be ashamed!!!

My apologies, I didn't mean to imply that all senior Eagle CAs make $140K. CRJ guys, CKA, and others who know how to play the system most definitely do, though.
