Sadly, JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs.

I'll put Richard Anderson up against that statement as an exception.

I'm in on that as well.

Yep. Left top spot at UHC for Delta. Many asked why he would make such a move and he stated he liked running an airline. He's very good at it.

The exception that proves the rule

Quote: Sounds good in theory, but having some wet-behind-the-ears graduate trying to manage a corporation that operates in a worldwide environment would be a disaster of epic proportions. At least he'd be cheap.
Would it be any worse of a disaster than it has under Carty, Arpey, and Horton?

Not to defend the man and his cronies in ANY way. But I must admit that DP has done a good job at polishing this turd of an airline. The metrics and revenue figures speak for themselves.. He is interested in running an airline. Something that TH, and his predecessors, have failed doing miserably.

US is in the black because of cheap labor costs from the east/west infighting, period. DP didnt re-invent the wheel or have any control over the fustercluck that is going on with labor. He inherited a sweet deal and hasnt done a thing to fix it.

You're supposed to put just one knee down, and put a ring on their finger. It's also police to face towards the people you propose to, not away.

Doug's hands are tied. He can't negotiate a DOH list since the company would be liable in the ensuing lawsuit. He also can't insist on the Nic award because USAPA will not accept it. It's going to be an indefinite stalemate.
