I'm a good pilot, I respect the captain's authority even if I don't always respect the person, and unlike some I know(ahem), I wouldn't let petty whining undermine you. But, if I'm going to be it the right seat next to you it will more likely be as a check airman.

Trust me, I think everyone gets the anger behind the East vs. West. No, 'gets' is a poor choice of words. We realize it's out there. We also realize it will probably NEVER go away. But when it raises it's ugly head I think the majority of the audience starts reaching for their ice picks to stab themselves in their eyes because it would be more enjoyable.
