What aa73 does not know, is that for the last 4 weeks I've been working very hard via phone calls and emails to get IOE for new International co-pilots to South America.

Dude... you rock. Good on ya! Hope they listen and change it up.

No 500' call? That would have saved Asiana 214, maybe.

I agree, that is great initiative and may save some people a lot of trouble later on. Lots of changes coming up, I hope the majority are good changes.

There is NO CRM at AA.

Do you know who had a wonderful CRM program and treated all their FOs as Captains in training?

Jeez 7576FO, you're starting to scare me. You make it sound like everyone hates each other at aa.

You got that right. Flying out of STL was like flying for a whole 'nutha airline. We tried like heck to get a lot of STL's cockpit culture implemented into AA's flight dept, only to be politely brushed aside. Shame, really. I hope USAir is more successful.

Bular is leaving the airline after everything is combined. Tim Campbell (former Compass, NWA, etc) will be Senior VP of "Air Operations" for the "New American".

Is he a pilot? It looks like they are combining inflight and flightops under one vp.
