I've also heard from friends at Eagle that the FAA is increasing scrutiny and line checks of pilots, due to poor morale and Jepp revision updates.

I guess I don't mind since I'm doing better at eagle then the first 4 years at AA... With the pay increases soon at AA and it gives me more time to save here at eagle.... Although PBS is coming and it's gonna be hell on my paycheck!!!
... Another move by management to move the carrot further away....
... Another move by management to move the carrot further away....
Eagle Capt RJ pay 12 yr $92. hour - 18 year $104 hour
AA 4th year pay 73/S80/75/76 $96-104. hour
So you are so addicted to overtime pay at Eagle that you cannot come to AA?
Add 8% Jan 1, 2014 to AA 4th year pay.
You will work less, and enjoy work more.
I flew for Horizon Air for 9 years.
Perhaps the correct answer is: You cannot afford to stay at Eagle since the "Rob Zombie" writing is on the wall.
Good luck to you.

This is correct. The company can now run the pilot group more efficiently which will mean less days off and less hiring. A lot has to do with how te rules are written, but in my opinion this is no win for the pilots. Sounds the wheels are already in motion for it, so might as well focus on trying to make it the best we can.

As a line holder I always wanted to work over the weekend so getting a decent line wasn't bad either....but like I said its all about language and learning to bid properly...I hope we get PBS here at US/American.
On the other note, I don't see any problem with company trying to be efficient to run a business. It's our (unions) job to get good language in the contract. I guess we will wait and see on what happens, line bidding takes too much of my off time to sort thru stuff, on the other hand tell PBS what you want and it will do as much as it can to get you almost ALMOST all of your wishes depending on your seniority. And you can xfer one month of bids to the other and tweak it. So there is no sorting thru lines every month to see what you want to bid.
That's just my point of view, you don't have to agree with it.

Either you didn't understand how to bid effectively or your union negotiated poor PBS rules.
I always got what I wanted with PBS and I was 60% seniority at ASA.
