New Hire info
Currently,
All new hires are going to EWR with about 2 a class going to GUM. Everybody currently is going on the 737, but... the last bid had 140 vacancies on the 757/767 in EWR. So its possible for some new hires going straing to it. (as a matter of fact the ewr 777 has two unfilled vacancies!). Good Luck

A lot of recent recalled pilots are going straight to the 756 and there are openings for new 777 F/O's. CAL is starting a major international expansion to get away from the continual "bar lowering" of airfares in the domestic system. It seems to be working since our flights to the new destinations are going overseas pretty full. I do know off the street pilots are currently being interviewed. Good luck to everyone. CAL really is a great place to work. ewrbasedpilot
