Delta To Supply Documents For Case
#12
That's bull**** if it is allowed to happen. Delta gave up those slots for lga slots and now they want them back and keep the lga slots. If that is allowed to happen it is a travesty. Delta is turning into the new swa (different rules for different airlines).

DOJ does not care about the consumer. Let's not forget that the Gov't is directly responsible for harming consumers in the 2008 housing bubble. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson knew what was going on in 2006. Why has congress or the president not reinstated The Glass Stegal Act that had prevented the 2008 mess from happening sooner?! The Gov't is constantly used to build bubbles for profit that pop on the consumer.
If the Gov't cared about the consumer we would not have Social Security funds in the general fund to spend on war, foreign aid and pork. SS is not broken, our governments morals are.
Also, we have an inflationary monetary policy that de-incentives savings and pushes everyone to race against inflation with exposure to the stock market and the constant bubble/burst cycle. If you put some of your money in savings than some of it is taken from you indirectly. Inflation is a layer of indirect taxation...Thank you Federal Reserve! Without you corporate America could never hide how the NAFTA and GAT trade agreements, that our Government signed, outsourced USA middle class jobs overseas.
Circling back, the Obama administration is benefitting in the 'DOJ v newAA case' in giving the perception of "protecting consumers," which is ironic seeing how most of the country lives in an alternate reality of sports, bravo channel and gov't subsidy. I just don't think the nation is really paying attention to this issue.
Only in America do we have money to go to war in Syria and then a month later shut down all public parks because we're so broke. This and the DOJ v AMR case is what happens when you have a Federal Government with undefined and limitless roles.
That's my latest conspiracy rant anyways.
Fly safe.
