Slice,

I sent you a PM. Cheers!

Does anyone have the new set of questions being asked during video interview? I remember there was a few sets they seemed to rotate through...

Haven't noticed anything lately until they've picked up OTS hiring.

Does anyone know why they are hiring so many? What do the retirements look like next year? Also we continue to shrink airframes it looks like.

Not saying I don't believe the 750 new hire number but just wondering where it's coming from.

Classes by month -

Sep - 2
Oct - 2
Nov - 3
Dec - 1

They run about every two weeks. The third one in November is the 29th, Dec's is the 13th(?).

Back it up in two week chunks and you'll be pretty darn close to the scheduled date.

Just checked my phone calendar - Sep 20th seems right. Tuesday starts if I remember correctly from last night's reading.

Is a December class confirmed?

Number seems to change daily (this is the airline industry). Latest this week, 750 - 1,000. So 750 (today) is the bottom end.

8300 retirements in the next 10 years. I think they would have continued hiring over the summer but had to wait on the classes filled with people returning from furlough.

We are way undermanned on the US side.

Yeah Philly was a mess in June, July, and August on the Airbus side.

Hey V1,
I did mine about 3 weeks ago, headed to an interview next week. The most recent gouge on this thread is right on (which is maybe 6 months old?). I'm by no means an expert but feel free to PM me if you have any other questions about it.

Attrition is higher than it appears over the past year. If the airline wasn't still shrinking we would have hired a lot more. (Recalls didn't help either) I think losing 80 ish airframes from last year through December 2016. I think it's suppose to bottom out around 906 airframes then next year start to final grow again.
